Just a super quick post with sneaks for the upcoming issue of ScrapStreet Magazine. This month I was lucky enough to participate in Showroom. Can you guess which manufacturer was gracious enough to sponsor us this month?

Been Busy ....
I've been busy lately creating new layouts and working on some cards for the Cards for Heroes drive that Brianne Nevill is hosting on the Scrapstreet boards. You should come and join us. We are trying to raise 1000 cards for our soldiers who fight so bravely overseas. We also have some awesome guest designers such as Karen Russell and Jennifer McGuire. For more info click here.
Well I am off to work on another layout while my little one is napping but first here's a peek of one that will be in the September issue of the Scrapstreet Magazine.

Love Me Some CHA
Oh my precious blog, how I’ve neglected you. It’s been so long since I’ve come to visit. So much has happened since my last post but let’s just focus on the more recent things, like CHA for example. I didn’t get to go but I drooled over all the new products while staring at it from my pc. My favorite products by far are ALL the lines from Pink Paislee. I mean WOW! I can’t wait to see it in person! Some other favorites this year are Sassafras, Lily Bee, Jenni Bowlin, Cosmo Cricket, and American Crafts.
Lately I’ve found my creative groove and have been creating with the Studio Calico kits. I started subbing with them a few months ago and I’ve been so happy with the layouts I’ve created! I’ve always had a hard time searching through my stash for matching papers but no more! I can just grab an SC kit and go for it! Here are a few of created with the Soda Fountain kit. Enjoy!

Sweet Summer
Summer is finally here and we've been enjoying the hot days playing in the water and eating ice cream. I've been working on my first article for the ScrapStreet.com magazine. I will be the writer of the Tool Time section. It will make its debut in the July issue. I'm still in disbelief that I made the team! The excitement still hasn't worn off. Speaking of which here is a preview of a layout I did for the article. Can you guess which tool I'll be featuring in July? Here's a hint, it's not something that you normally use on a layout. Have a good one!

2 Sketches 4 You
It's the 1st anniversary of 2 Sketches 4 You. I have to admit, I've lurked around on their site for quite a bit but I haven't had a chance to play with their sketches yet. See I'm more of a layout type of chick. I made cards every so often but they definately are not my strong suit. This time around, I decided to join in on the fun. For their 1st anniversary, 2 Sketches 4 You is having a little card contest. I decided to throw my hat in the ring as well. Here is the sketch that you had to base your card off of...
And here is my take on the sketch...

I Caved
Yep. I've been eyeing the Studio Calico kit for months now and I just couldn't get myself to commit to a 6 month sub. Well, I finally couldn't take it anymore. I subscribed yesturday and my first kit, Playground, will be here tomorrow!!! I can't wait to play with it! And to top it off, the sneak peek for the June kit was last night...O.M.G!!!! I'm in heaven! I have no regrets now for subbing! Now I just need to scrounge up some loose change and hope to get my hands on add on #3. Love that one! You guys should go to the Studio Calico site and check it out. :)

Good News!
I played along again this year with ScrapStreet's Star Contest. This is my third year playing along and I had just as much fun this go around as I did the first time around. I didn't win the contest but I did get an awesome surprise! I was asked to be one of the ScrapStreet magazine writers!!! I still can't believe that I made the team! *swoons* The ladies are awesome and so spunky. I love it! Here are some of the layouts that I made for the contest...

Getting Started
I have been super inspired to scrap lately. I've staeted working on Jaina's scrapbook. Here are afew of the pages I've made so far...
I've also been keeping myself busy with the Star contest over at ScrapStreet. The challenges have been very inspiring and loads of fun! It's in the final round now. Although I was eliminated this last round, I can't wait to see what awesome work the ladies are going to do!

Very Bad Blogger...
Ok. I've been such a bad blogger again...but I have an excuse this time around. *giggle* Lots of things have been happening around here lately. For those of you that didn't know, I was due to have our new baby girl on March 18th. On March 3rd, I went in for a regular doctor's appointment and lo and behold, the doctor decided to go ahead and take her that day due to some problems that I was having. Nothing major. He just wanted to play it safe. Needless to say, at 2:24pm that day, Jaina was born.
We are now a happy family of 4. We are still getting adjusted to having a new schedule but everything is going well so far. And not only was this month Jaina's birthday, we also celebrated another birthday...
Yep. Aryanna turned 4 the following week. We brought cupcakes to her school and her teacher brought little ice cream cups. :)
